About Violet Vymatic
Violet Vymatic is a 15‑year‑old vocalist and songwriter whose dark, ethereal voice channels decades of music from 1920s jazz to classic rock and metal. With two years fronting bands, she weaves haunting melodies with powerful energy, exploring themes of melancholy and hope while pushing her creative boundaries on keyboards and drums.
Violet has honed her performance skills through six seasons of the School of Rock Performance Program and three seasons with its elite Houseband, taking the stage at venues ranging from local festivals to Austin City Limits Live. As the creative force behind the all‑girl band Sugar Thrash, she co‑writes original songs like “Yellow,” “So Silent,” “Pyromania” and “Light as Sand.” Drawing inspiration from artists like Janis Joplin and Pink Floyd, her live shows captivate audiences with intensity, authenticity and a genuine love for music.
